Richard was a wonderful stepdad as well, and grandfather to my son Toby. He was such a good teacher and so creative. We bonded over reading and history, he was the person who taught me to shoot a gun, he loved to weld metal figurines for me to put in my house and garden, which I will keep forever. Toby loved receiving the little care packages he would mail us, which always included cars and toy guns. We miss you, Grandpa. - Cam and Toby
