Debra Ann Melvin, 61, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, February 21, 2025, at her home. Debra was born, January 9, 1964, in Russell, Kentucky, a daughter of William Earl (Christie) Melvin of Greenup, Kentucky and the late Mildred Rhoden Melvin. She was a server at Bob Evans Restaurant and she loved to make and decorate cakes. Debra was a very loving daughter, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Melvin.
In addition to her father and step mother, she is survived by four children Angela Melvin, William Edward Kennedy, Vanessa Johnson all of Louisville, Kentucky and Taseana Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a brother James (Christi) Melvin of Greenup, Kentucky; five grandchildren Alexis, Kaelyn, Cameron, Malachi, and Malik; a great-granddaughter Sequoia; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and family who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in the Melvin Cemetery, Wurtland, Kentucky.
