Kathryn Barber, 87, of Flatwoods, Kentucky passed away, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at St. Mary’s Annex in Ironton, Ohio.

Mrs. Barber was born October 19, 1928 in Paintsville, Kentucky a daughter of the late Pat Roberts and Julia Hood Lockwood.

She was a member of Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Lowell Barber and one brother Norman Roberts.

She was survived by

One son Johnny William Barber of Lloyd, Kentucky

Two daughters

Judy Segina of Gaffney, South Carolina

Mary and Jim Tolliver of Flatwoods, Kentucky

6 grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Great Grandchildren

Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Danny Brown. Entombment will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
