Carlos C. Tomlin Sr.

1925 - 2016

Carlos “Pap-Paw” Tomlin, 90, of Worthington, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 1, 2016 at Kingsbrook Life Care Center Ashland, Kentucky.

Carlos was born February 3, 1925 in Lewis County, Kentucky a son of the late William and Mary Beard Tomlin.

Carlos was a retired yard switchman from C&O Railroad in Raceland, Kentucky. He was also a member of the United Transportation Union for 41 years. He was a United States WW II Army Veteran.

1 granddaughter Lynn Lewis

Also 1 brother and 3 sisters.

He is survived by

one son C.C. and Joyce Tomlin Jr. of Worthington, KY

Diane and Clyde Lunsford of Versallies, KY

Connie and Bob Riggs of Raceland, KY

1 step-son William Bryan of Powell, OH

2 step-daughters

Shirley Jordan of Erlanger, KY

Linda Sipes of Powell, OH

5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Marvin Boggs. Graveside service will be conducted at 1 pm in the McClurg Cemetery in Concord, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
