Shane Kazee, 41, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Thursday October 29, 2015 at his residence.
Shane was born June 18, 1974 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of Elmer and Glenda Diller Kazee of Greenup, Kentucky.
Shane was a 1992 graduate of Greenup County High School.
Shane was a United States Marine and National Guards Veteran and had served in the Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in which he was awarded a Bronze Star with Valor and two Purple Hearts.
He had worked as an engineer for North Fork Southern and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Shane was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.
He was a proud dad not only of his own family but also his veteran family and most importantly Shane was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Shirley Kazee and Heidi Ernestine Traylor Diller

Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Wayne Stephenson and Jason Wright. Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky. Military rites will be performed by Marine Corps League Greenbo Detachment # 1345.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 9:00 pm Tuesday and one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
