Roger Dale Nichols, 64, of Westwood, Kentucky formerly of Greenup, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Shore, Kentucky.

Roger was born June 3, 1951 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Burl and Mae Rose Nichols.

He was a Aramark employee at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital and a United States Navy Veteran.

He is survived by

1 son Troy Michael Nichols of Boise, Idaho

1 daughter Trina Marie Taylor of Wooster, Ohio

Carolyn Sue and Tim Hall of Coal City, IN

A Best Friend, Penny Smith of Kenova, WV

5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in the Nichols Cemetery in Greenup, KY. Military rites will be perform by Marine Corps League Greenbo Detachment 1345.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
