Linda Kay Layne

Linda Kay Layne, 56, of Ashland, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mrs. Layne was born Mach 28, 1959 in Otway, Ohio a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Caniff Birkeneier.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Layne; 2 sons, James Layne and his wife Cheri of Lloyd, Kentucky and Richard Layne of Ashland, KY. 3 daughters, Angie Hensley of Ashland, Betty Hensley Ferris of Pikeville, KY and Jabecca Layne of Ashland, KY. 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Layne Family Cemetery in Ashland, KY by Pastor Frank Hulett and Pastor Mike Amos.

Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of the arrangements.
