William “Bill” Joseph Clark, 56, of Argillite, passed away Monday August 25, 2025 at his home. William was born April 13, 1969 in Ironton, Ohio. William worked for the City of Ashland as an engineer at the floodwall. He loved spending time outdoors. During his younger years, William enjoyed a day out on the boat but, as time went on, he spent most of his time in the woods hunting or tending to the garden on his farm. William always had his dog Winston by his side.
William leaves behind a family who loves him as much as he loved them. He is survived by his parents William M. and Linda Stephens Clark of Ashland, Kentucky; son William Cody (Laura) Clark of Ashland, Kentucky; sister Pamela Trader of Ashland, Kentucky; uncles Roy Stephens, Bob Stephens and John Stephens of Load, Kentucky; nieces Madison Skylar (Chase Cooper) Craft and Olivia Grace Trader; granddaughters Avary and Emary; best friends James Felty of Rush, Kentucky and Randy Carpenter of Ohio; A special friend Angie Evans of Elliott County, Kentucky; along with a host of family and friends. All who knew him will miss him dearly.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Quillen Cemetery in Lynn, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11:00 amuntil service time. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
