Wendell O'Brien

Wendell O’Brien Coffey, 43, of Grayson, Kentucky passed away Monday October 4, 2021, at his residence in Grayson. Wendell was born January 24, 1978, in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of Cheryl Hartley Coffey and the late Wendell Ray Coffey. He was a volunteer fireman for Norton Branch Fire Department in Rush, Kentucky. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 181. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He enjoyed operating equipment, especially backhoes.

Hayden Coffey of Lynchburg, Virginia

Hunter (Chasity) Coffey of South Shore, Kentucky

Alexis (Devin Mosier) Coffey of Grayson, Kentucky

Cathy Coffey of Grayson, Kentucky

Four grandchildren

Aubrey Coffey, Reed Coffey, Riley Coffey, and Hudson Mosier

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday October 8, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Rob Parsons. Burial will be in Danleyton Cemetery in Danleyton, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday October 7, 2021, at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Friday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
