Wayne Eugene McFarland Sr.

Wayne Eugene McFarland Sr., 73, of Garrison, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 24, 2021, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mr. McFarland was born September 17, 1948, in Brushart, Kentucky a son of the late Earl and Eula Young McFarland. He was a United States Army Veteran. He served during the Vietnam Era from 1969-1972 and was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas. He was a 1967 graduate of Licking Heights High School in Pataskala, Ohio, and attended Brushart Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Christine Conley McFarland and one brother Gary McFarland.

Joseph (Kylie) McFarland of Crawfordsville, Indiana

Two daughters

Barbara (Eric) Stone of Garrison, Kentucky

Louisa (Tom) Sparks of Olive Hill, Kentucky

Shelby McFarland of Columbus, Ohio

One sister

Sharon Heldreth of Columbus, Ohio

Eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends who will miss him greatly.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Tuesday November 30, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Floyd Neace. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Tuesday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
