Virginia Mae "Jenny" Evans Coffey

Virginia Mae “Jenny” Evans Coffey, 84, of Raceland, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 17, 2021 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Jenny was born January 25, 1937 in Raceland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Edward and Mariah Linda Marie Adams Evans.

She was a 1955 graduate of Raceland High School and attended the First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ranzie Coffey; two great grandchildren Derrick and Landon Ferguson.

She is survived by one son Kevin (Lynn) Coffey of Russell, Kentucky; one daughter Rebecca (Jeff) Ferguson of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; a twin sister Donna (James) Daniels of Flatwoods, Kentucky; five grandchildren Anthony (Laura) Ferguson, Adam (Laura) Ferguson, Jonathan (Lindsey) Ferguson, Kristen (Mike) Long and Amy (Jacob) Conlon; nine great-grandchildren Katelyn, Mya, Lucy Mae, Maxwell, Benjamin, Emma Mae, Weston, Dylan, and Grayson; a very special nephew Curtis (Teresa) Daniels of Greenup, Kentucky; a host of nieces, nephews and family who loved her and will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, May 21, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Shane Cox. Entombment will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00pm Thursday and one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home.
