Rebecca Ann “Little Becky” Pinson

Rebecca Ann “Little Becky” Pinson, 43, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Portsmouth, Ohio.Rebecca was born October 15, 1982, in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of James Pinson Jr. Portsmouth, Ohio, Laura Turner Pinson and Step Mom Rebecca Jean Hamilton of Grove City, Ohio. Rebecca had attended Portsmouth East High School.

She loved playing volleyball, music, dancing, eating Whatchamacallit’s, playing “spa” day, and spending time with her girls.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children Jeremiah Walker Phipps.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two daughters Samanatha Jo Phipps and Elizabeth Paige Phipps of Grove City, Ohio; four sisters Jennifer Lynn Pinson of Portsmouth, Ohio, Rachel Marie Pinson of San Francisco, California, Nicole Cayliana Logan of Bexley, Ohio, and Sarah Ellen Logan of Upper Arlington, Ohio; a brother James Pinson III and wife Jessica of Lexington, Ky.; two nieces Alexis Phipps and Adreeona Phipps both of Portsmouth, Ohio; a nephew Elijah James Crisp of Bexley, Ohio, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

She was loved by all that knew her. The family wants to send a special “Thank You” for longtime family friend Mitzi Logan for always being here and a part of our extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 3:00-5:00pm at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky.
