Pamela Sue Blanton

Pamela Sue Blanton, 71, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away July 13, 2025, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Pamela was born May 13, 1954, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Marshall and Evelyn Fout Truitt. She was a 1971 graduate of McKell High School and the proud owner and operator of The Game Room in Greenup, Kentucky, which she ran for 10 years. She was a member of the American Pool Players Association and traveled to many cities to compete in tournaments. Her love of travel extended beyond the pool table, she and her late husband were over-the-road truck drivers, exploring the country together and creating a lifetime of memories. She also had a love for horseback riding and trail riding. She cherished her time with family and adored her daughter and grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them. She never met a stranger and truly loved being around people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harley Blanton and one brother Phillip Mike Truitt.

She is survived by one daughter Victoria Blanton Collins of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Ed (Susan) Truitt of Buffalo, West Virginia and Mark Truitt of Greenup, Kentucky; two grandchildren Ryker Blanton and Phoenix Blanton; two step grandchildren Chloe Collins and Emma Collins.
