Melissa Ann Burchett Moore, 56, of Boyd, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. Melissa was born March 30, 1965, in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of Betty Hall May of Argillite, Kentucky and the late Paul May Sr. She was a 1983 graduate of Greenup County High School. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one daughter Chandra Burchett and one son Chance Burchett.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 14 years Roy Moore; two daughters Ashley Burchett of Ashland, Kentucky and Tiffany (Dustin) Sutfin of Westwood, Kentucky; one brother Paul (Kim) May Jr. of Burlington, Kentucky; one sister Debbie May of Burlington, Kentucky; two grandchildren Devon Burchett and Emma Sutfin; two step-grandchildren Raya Sutfin and Kira Sutfin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Andrew Hall. Burial will be in Lucas-May Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky.
