Linda Lou Hieneman

Linda Lou Hieneman, 79, of Greenup, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her home with her loving husband and family by her side.

Linda was born August 15,1947, in Greenup, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Billy and Virgina Runyon McBrayer.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of the former Wurtland High School and later graduated from Beauty School as a beautician.  She owned her own Hair Salon in Greenup called “Diane and Linda’s”. She was a faithful member of Little Sandy Baptist Church in Greenup and was one of the kindness and sweetest lady you could meet. Linda is going to be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Billy Eugene McBrayer; two sisters Diane Martin and Regina Bradley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Marvin Douglas Hieneman; a son Marvin Douglas (Kayla Price) Hieneman II; three sisters Carol Hockley of Argillite, Kentucky, Kathy (Bill) Snoddy of Wurtland, Kentucky and Sherry (Lester) Archey of Greenup, Kentucky; a grandson Conor Blake Hieneman; a sister- in law Teresa McBrayer of Oxford, Michigan; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Tim Wright. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, Greenup County, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:00am until service time on Thursday, at the funeral home.
