Julian “Duke” Johnson
Duke Johnson, 75, of Howell, Michigan, passed away, January 14, 2021, at home surrounded by family. Duke was born, August 8, 1945 in Warnock, KY to Jim and Alma (Moore) Johnson. Duke served in the US Army, stationed at Fort Hood, TX. He was employed by Pepsi Co. in Howell for 35+ years. Duke enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and woodworking in his spare time. Duke will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and brother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Duke is survived by his sons, Jim (Michele) Johnson and Jody (Dee) Johnson; grandchildren, Tyler, Levi and Jesse, brother, Ed (Linda) Johnson and sister in law, Barbara Traylor-Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Virgil.
Duke’s family & friends will gather at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel for visitation on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 22, 2021 at Reed Funeral Home, Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown.
