Jodie Lynn Hicks, 66, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her brother’s home surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Jodie was born June 25, 1959, in Lakeland, Florida, a daughter of the late John and Neva George Brown. Jodie was a 1983 graduate of Russell High School. She enjoyed watching Little House on Prairie and Star Trek. Jodie loved her family dearly.
She is survived by three brothers Timothy Paul (Hazel) Brown of Russell, Kentucky, John Richard Brown Jr. of Russell, Kentucky, and Robert Mark (Kristina) Brown of Flatwoods, Kentucky; a sister Beth Ann Oliver of Ocala, Florida; a special Aunt Mary (Joe) Moore of Worthington, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and family who loved her and will miss her.
