Janet Wilson, 72, of Ashland, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2026, at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Janet was born September 26, 1953, in Oldtown, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Otis Wayne and Thelma Lorain Felty. Janet was a Member of Hopewell Methodist Churc

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Nora Lou Felty, Kim Mathers Felty; one brother-in-law, Alex Stevens Jr.; and one grandson, Caleb Felty.

She is survived by one son, Joshua Felty; four brothers, Lloyd (Sandy) Felty of Grayson, Kentucky, Leonard (Nellie) Felty of Plymouth, Ohio, Thomas Felty of Ashland, Kentucky, and Danny (Martha) Felty of Riner, Virginia; two sisters, Karen “Ruth” Felty Stevens of Greenup, Kentucky, and Laura (David) Felty Johannson of Prescott, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky, by Brother Chris Bellew. Burial will be in Oldtown Cemetery in Oldtown, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, and one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Reed Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
