Evelyn Michell King

Evelyn Michell King, 48, of Ashland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 11, 2022, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born June 22, 1973, in Morehead, Kentucky a daughter of the late Daphine Blevins. She was a member of the Ashland Eagles F.O.E. where she was previously the secretary for the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed art, and baking and designing cakes. She was very proud of her cake business. She made many kids happy with her cakes. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandbabies, they were her pride and joy. She also donated to various charities. The most important was Rhyan’s Gift in which every year she donated and delivered Christmas stockings to children in several of the area hospitals. Rhyan’s Gift is in honor of her late grandson.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one grandson Rhyan Bravo.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Rhoden Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky.
