Ernest Pixley

Ernest Pixley, 75, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Thursday July 1, 2021, at his residence in Greenup. Mr. Pixley was born November 28, 1945, in Portland, Oregon a son of the late George Pixley and Lois Denniston Fritz.

Ernest was a United States Navy Veteran and was a retired supervisor from the United States Postal Service.

He is survived by loving wife of 34 years Barbara Ratliff Pixley; one son George Henry “Sonny” (Cindy) Pixley II of Henderson, Nevada; one daughter Dawn (Thomas) Meredith of Braggs, Oklahoma; two step sons Tom (Elizabeth) Cooper of New Carlisle, Ohio and Tim (Bethany) Cooper of Greenup, Kentucky; one step daughter Tonya (Jay) Dowdy of Greenup, Kentucky; one sister Janice (Harold Ray) Lamb of Blythe, California; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one special dog Benji.
