Dylan Charles Adams

Dylan Charles Adams, 22, of Portsmouth, Ohio formerly of Raceland, Kentucky passed away, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Dylan was born February 3, 1999, in Lancaster, Ohio a son of Steven Lindsey of Lancaster, Ohio and Amanda Nicole Adams (Billy Meade) Carter of Greenup, Kentucky. He was a 2017 graduate of Raceland High School and presently a cook at Wendy’s in Wheelersburg, Ohio. He greatly enjoyed playing Marvel Heroes video games and took great pride in his truck which he loved. He loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Kenny Lindsey, a great grandfather Robert Parry and his best friend Joseph Maybee.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Step-father Charles (Tammy Thompson) Carter of Ironton, Ohio; fiancé Riley Jo Royal of Portsmouth, Ohio; two brothers Michael Carter of Greenup and Kenneth Steven Lindsey of Lancaster, Ohio; four sisters Makayla Carter, Haley Matney, Lexy Carter and Rhiannon Carter all of Greenup, Kentucky; Maternal grandmother Liesa (Charles) Kuhn of Amanda, Ohio; maternal grandfather Clifford (Mary) Adams of Chillicothe, Ohio; Paternal grandmother Teresa Long of Lancaster, Ohio; step-grandmother Janet Carter of London, Ohio; step-grandfather Mike (Peggy) Carter of Flatwoods, Kentucky; great-grandmother Marie Parry of Amanda, Ohio; great-grandfather Carl Young of Amanda, Ohio; a very best friend Austin Trammell of Nevada and Tyler Newman of Wheelersburg, Ohio; a host of family and friends who will miss him greatly.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, December 10, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Mike Carter. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
