Doak Childress

Doak Childress, 97, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, November 19, 2021 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, Ohio.

Doak was born September 8, 1924, in Seamen, Ohio a son of the late John and Rebecca Meade Chikldress.

Doak was a United States Navy Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Tucker Childress; two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by a son Missionary James (Phyllis) Childress of Panama, Central America; a daughter Pat (Michael) Siler of Greenup, Kentucky; two grandchildren James (Debbie) Siler and Matthew Siler.

Burial will be in the Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.
