Darrin D. Hall

Darrin D. Hall, 60, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his residence from a long-extended illness surrounded by his loving family. Darrin was born on August 22, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio, a son of Gene "Butch" Hall of Wallingford, Kentucky and Diane Swim Hall of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Darrin was a man who loved life and the things that brought him joy. He had a deep passion for dirt track racing, pro wrestling, enjoyed classic 80s hair metal music, and was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan. These passions were a big part of who he was and how he connected with those around him. He was an avid animal lover. Darrin deeply missed his dog of many years "Katie".

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Christy Montgomery Hall of Greenup, Kentucky; his children, Brittany Hall of Ashland, Kentucky, and Josh Hall of Greenup, Kentucky; his cherished grandchildren, Braelynn Zimmerman and Noah Zimmerman; and his sister, Lisa Carroll of Wallingford, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews. Darrin will be remembered for his love of family, his strong passions, and the memories he shared with all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tech Medical and FIVCO for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Darrin. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
