Daniel Russell Meeks, 53, of Raceland, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Daniel was born July 13, 1972, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of Raymond Meeks of Rush, Kentucky and the late Janet Hostler Meeks.
Daniel attended the Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church, loved reading his Bible and talking about Jesus. He enjoyed decorating the house for Christmas every year and loved taking care of his sons. Daniel was a very loving, kind, and amazing husband and father.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Meeks.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Regina Dale Hall Meeks; two sons Damien and Sebastian Meeks both of Raceland, Kentucky; a brother Dee Meeks of Flatwoods, Kentucky; a sister Missi (Eric) Marshall of Rush, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00pm Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky by Pastor Danny Brown. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with the services.
