Charles Raymond "Butch" Wright

Charles Raymond “Butch” Wright, 77, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Butch was born January 9, 1945, in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Henry and Garnet Barker Wright. He was a retired Switchman from CSX Railroad and was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Johnny James Wright and a sister Wilma Jean Fryer.

He is survived by two daughters Angela Cyrus of Danville, Illinois and Shelly Wright of Gladstone, Missouri; a sister Sue (Paul) Staley of Scottsdale, Arizona and a brother Haskell (Sue) Wright of Greenup, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. A private burial will be in Warnock Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
