Bruce Braden

Bruce E. Braden, 68, of Load, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Monday February 8, 2021 in King’s Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mr. Braden was born September 19, 1952 in Ironton, Ohio a son of the late Elmer and Juanita Carter Braden. He was a member of Load Christian Baptist Church where he was on the Board of Trustees and worked the sound system at the church. He was a 1970 graduate of the former Wurtland High School. Bruce worked at Kinner Lumber in Greenup, Kentucky for 50 years. He sang with gospel groups Christian Brothers, Sounds of Victory, and Cornerstone Gospel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Wanda (Chaffins) Braden

one daughter Jill Braden of Load, Kentucky

one brother Jeffrey (Anita) Braden of Lynn, Kentucky

his mother-in-law Geneva Chaffins of Load, Kentucky

several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday February 12, 2021 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Robbie Bond. Burial will be in Chaffins Cemetery in Greenup.
