William "Eddie" Fitzwater Jr.

William “Eddie” Fitzwater Jr., 80, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Sanctuary of Ohio Valley in Ironton, Ohio. Eddie was born March 1, 1940 in Greenup County, Kentucky a son of the late William E. Sr. and Willa Robinson Fitzwater. He was a retired carmen with CSX Railroad, a 1957 graduate of McKell High School and was a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Delbert and Leonard Fitzwater; two sisters Juanita Grubb and Gearldine Hale.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Vivian Louise Hamilton Fitzwater; two sons William E. Fitzwater III of Raceland, Kentucky and Josiah Fitzwater of Greenup, Kentucky; one daughter Angie Boll of Worthington, Kentucky; one brother Landon Fitzwater of Greenup, Kentucky and one sister Mildred Carr of Lynn, Kentucky; three grandchildren Creed Fitzwater, Kegan Fitzwater, and Derrick Siders; a host of nieces, nephews and family that loved him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Minister Anthony Hamm. Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky.
