Vivian Rose “Cricket” Cox Archey, 68, of Greenup, Kentucky passed peacefully June 13, 2020 in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Cricket was born August 1, 1951 in Raceland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Thelma Cox.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Gene E. Archey; one stepdaughter Amy Archey Cron and her mother and father in law “Mom and Dad” Norma and Thurman Archey.
After 20+ years of service, she was sad to retire and leave her Giovanni’s family and special customers, but her health kept her home.
Growing up in Raceland, Kentucky she created many great friendships. She met most of her friends because of her pony “Smokey” who was her best friend.

Lifelong friends Carolyn Tingler, Dallas Lemmings, and Leonard Poff
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in North East Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
