Kellie Bernice Tolliver Strother

Kellie Bernice Tolliver Strother, 54, of Nicholas County, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Thursday June 4, 2020 at Johnsons-Mathers Nursing Home. Kellie was born July 11, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan a daughter of the late Elbert Allen and Bernice Barney Tolliver. She loved singing, her favorite songs were Amazing Grace and Wayfaring Stranger.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Wendell Allen Tolliver, Paul David Tolliver, and Elbert Avery Tolliver; Grandparents Henry and Bessie Ratliff Barney and James Ellis and Callie Bentley Tolliver.

She is survived by one son David “Davy” Strother III of Westwood, Kentucky whom she loved very much; two brothers Mathew Wayne Tolliver of Greenup, Kentucky and Mark Nathan (Bridget) Tolliver of Greenup, Kentucky; four sisters Kathy (Gary) Miller of Winchester, Kentucky, Vicky (Wilbur) Smith of Jasper, Florida, Teresa Baumgartner of Russell, Kentucky, and Tammie (Brian) Meenach of Garrison, Kentucky; one sister in law Ruby Tolliver of Flatwoods, Kentucky; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Smith Branch Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Tuesday. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com.
