Jerrid Ray Clarke

Jerrid Ray Clarke, 29, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be in his Saviors arms, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. Jerrid was born August 9, 1990 in Russell, Kentucky a son of Wilbert and Nancy Saylers Clarke of Argillite, Kentucky. He was a former employee of the Coke Plant where he was a hydro blaster. He was a 2009 graduate of Greenup County High School. Jerrid had a great love for baseball and loved playing with the neighborhood kids when they would ask him to play ball with them. He also enjoyed playing guitar with Deshaun. Jerrid had such a kind soul and even through out his illness he always put others first. He will be greatly missed by so many. He was preceded in death by a great friend Devin Rose. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife of nine years Jasmine Thompson Clarke; two beautiful daughters Jaylah and Ella Clarke; two brothers Justin (Courtney) Clarke of Argillite, Kentucky and Shawn (Shanda) Litteral of Wurtland, Kentucky and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted ‪at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 22, 2020‬ at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Youth Pastor Chris Woods.  Burial will be in the Pennsylvania Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky. Visitation will be ‪from 5:00 – 9:00 pm Friday‬ at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards funeral expenses.
