Ruth Boggs

Ruth Ratcliff Boggs, 98, of Maloneton, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Monday, January 6, 2020 at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, Kentucky.

Ruth was born May 17, 1921 in Carter City, Kentucky a daughter of the late Charlie and Florence Cartee Ratcliff.

She was a member of Allen Chapel Church of Christ in Maloneton, a member of the Lynn Homemakers and was a charter member of the Greenup County Quilt Guild. She was also a founding member of Maloneton Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, a member of Allen Chapel Church of Christ Missionary Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Jerome Quentin Boggs; one brother Ralph J. Ratcliff

She is survived by

One son Jerome David (Beth Ann) Boggs of Maloneton, Kentucky

One daughter

Elizabeth Ann (Danny) Sagraves of Maysville, Kentucky

Four grandchildren

Aaron (Mindy) Seagraves, Matthew (Courtney) Boggs, Megan Boggs and J.T. Boggs

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday January 10, 2020 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Ministers Harold Dupuy and David Bentley. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday and one hour before the service on Friday.
