Vesta Juanita Robinson

Vesta Juanita Robinson, 90, of Lloyd, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Mrs. Robinson was born January 18, 1929 in Greenup County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Rosie Pigg Reed. She was a member of the Smith Branch Church of God where she was a secretary and treasurer for many years. Vesta was full of life and never met a stranger. She loved her family dearly and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Carl D. Robinson; two sons Pete Robinson and Roger Robinson; one brother Clifford Reed; four sisters Beatrice Thomas, Grace Patterson, Ruth Youngblood, Reta Sanders and Jalana Fitzwaters; one grandson Darren Tolliver. She is survived by two sons Carl (Carolyn) Robinson Jr. of Greenup, Kentucky Donnie (Susie) Robinson of Greenup, Kentucky one daughter Carol (Clayton) Brown of Catlettsburg, Kentucky one sister Garnet Ball of Plant City, Florida A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren her beloved pet “Tiny” special hospice nurses Lauren, Stacie and Jamie who took wonderful care of Vesta Funeral services will be conducted ‪2:00 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2019‬ at Lloyd Church of the Nazarene by Bro. Kenny Martin and Bro. Roger Wireman. Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd.  Visitation will be ‪Tuesday from 11:00 am‬ until service at the Lloyd Church of the Nazarene.
