Garnet Kaye Billips

Garnet Kaye Billups, 71, of Lloyd, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Saint Mary’s Cornerstone Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Kaye was born July 19, 1948 in Powellton, WV a daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Kathleen Moore Cales. She was a retired tax preparer for the H & R Block and was a charter member of the First Baptist church of Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd C. Billups; two brothers Eddie Cales and Ralph Gary Cales; two sisters Toni Clay and Beverly Cales. She is survived by three sons Larry Joe (Kathy) Grubb of Ponchatoula, Louisiana Lloyd F. (Cindy) Billups of Flatwoods, Kentucky Philip (Tonya) Billups of Oldtown, Kentucky one sister Vicky Adkins of Lloyd, Kentucky eight grandchildren Michael (Cassie) Grubb, Kyle Grubb, Brooklyn Grubb, Natalie Diane Billups, Gracie Billups, Brady Billups, William Billups and Wade Billups two great-grandchildren Madalyn Grubb and Carter Grubb. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Lloyd by Bro. Carl Collier. Burial will be in the Hurst Cemetery in Lloyd. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup and one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
