Frances Ruth Rose

Frances Ruth Rose, 84, of Worthington, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, August 30, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born April 20, 1935 in Greenup, Kentucky a daughter of the late Robert l. and Carrie L. Blevins Martin. She was a member of the Wurtland Missionary Baptist Church in Wurtland, Kentucky. She worked in housekeeping at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Eugene Stepp and her second husband Charles E. Rose

Lucy Stepp, Betty Hamilton and Phyllis Rose.

She is survived by

two sons

Robert Wayne (Velvet) Stepp of Argillite, Kentucky and Harold (Alisa) Stepp of Wurtland, Kentucky

three daughters

Joyce (Kenneth) Cantrell of Argillite, Kentucky, Rhonda (Dan) Zegelien of Owneningsville, Kentucky and Frances (Ralph) Caudill of Raceland, Kentucky

two sisters

Josephine Bradford of Grayson, Kentucky and Dorothy Forbes of Argillite, Kentucky

ten grandchildren

several nieces and nephews

a special cousin Rondall Blevins of Argillite, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 by Bro. James Harris at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky . Burial will be in the Stepp Cemetery in Argillite. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 and one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.
