Dottie Lou Poplin

Dottie Lou Poplin, 75, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Friday March 1, 2019 at her residence with her family around her bedside.

Mrs. Poplin was born July 21, 1943 in Greenup, Kentucky a daughter of the late Orville Sr. and Carrie Salley Conley. Dottie was of the Pentecostal faith and attended various churches.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren J.C. Burtram and Madison Royster Jr.; one brother Robert Conley; and four sisters Imagene Bays, Pauline Carpenter, Katherine Grubb, and Myrtle Baldridge.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years David Curtis Poplin

Brenton (Crystal) Poplin of Bronson, Florida

Vickie (Ray) Wiley of Greenup, Kentucky

Tammy Stephens of Greenup, Kentucky

Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Monday March 4, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Rev. James Harris. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Monday. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com.
