Jarid Ray Hanners

Jarid Ray Hanners, 29, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at his residence in Greenup, Kentucky. Jarid was born June 21, 1989 in Ashland, Kentucky a son of Edward Joe and Cheryl Lynn Slone Hanners of Greenup, Kentucky.

Jarid had attended Raceland – Worthington Schools and later attended Greenup County High School. He was presently attending welding school at ACTC. He was employed at Patton Lumber Co. in Ashland, Kentucky. Jarid had a big heart and even bigger smile. He had a smile so big that it could light up any room and a laugh that would brighten anyone’s day. Jarid loved sports and weight lifting. He could outshop any woman. His favorite was watching University of Kentucky basketball and Cincinnati Reds Baseball. Jarid cherished his two boys and family dearly.

many aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him and will miss him greatly. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Greenup. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards funeral expenses.
