Steven Berle Martin

Steven Berle Martin, 61, of Lloyd, Kentucky went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, October 8, 2018 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky surrounded by his loving family. Steven was born January 31, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of Pauline Cooper Martin of Lloyd, Kentucky and the late James L. Martin.

Steven was a retired machinist from Ashland Fairchild Machine Shop. He was a 1975 graduate of Greenup County High School. Steven was the grandson of Rev. Willis R. Cooper. Steven followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and became a minister at a young age. He preached under his grandfather Rev. Cooper at Hopewell Methodist in Greenup County. He also preached at Bennett’s Chapel Church in South Shore, Kentucky, Walnut Hill Church in Greenup and many other area churches.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 his home at 72 Ohio river road in Lloyd, Kentucky. Reed Funeral in Greenup is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
