Janet Keen

Janet K. Keen, 76, of Flatwoods, Kentucky passed away Friday August 17, 2018 at Crystal Care Nursing Home in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Mrs. Keen was born March 21, 1942 in Flatwoods, Kentucky a daughter of the late William Matthew and Edna Short Keeton.

Janet attended First Baptist Church in Raceland, Kentucky. She was retired from Verizon in Ashland, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Merrill Keeton; two sisters Rosa Stevens and Cheryl Young.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bishop Rick Shelby. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday and one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
