Brenda Gay Compton

Brenda Gay Compton, 65, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at her home.

Brenda was born December 1, 1952 in Huntington, West Virginia a daughter of the late William Franklin Sr. and Bedeliah Idonna Brown Leep. Brenda was a former Licensed Vocational Nurse at Medical City in Dallas, Texas and over the years She also had worked at several other medical facilities as a LVN. She was an avid hunter and fisherman in which she loved to do with her husband.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Lisa Searls and one brother William F. Leep Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Dale Compton

One son Brent (Vanessa) Compton of McKinney, Texas

One daughter Lori Hoskins of Galveston, Texas

Maria (Robert) Bodamer of South Point, Ohio

Linda (Sam) Pratt of Huntington, West Virginia

Two grandchildren Chase Compton and Breanna Compton of Colorado Springs, Colorado

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
