Kevin Eugene Reed

Kevin Eugene Reed, 57, of Chillicothe, Ohio, formerly of Greenup, Kentucky peacefully finished his race and went to be with the Lord May 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Kevin was born August 28, 1960 in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of Glen E. Reed of Wurtland, Kentucky and Minnie Corns (Henderson) Collier of South Shore, Kentucky. Kevin was a 1978 graduate of Greenup County High School. He was retired from Sun Chemical in Wurtland. He was the founder of Lightbearers Ministries and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Chillicothe. He loved motorcycles, cars and the Great Smokey Mountains. His nickname was “Uncle Dude” and “Car Junkie” throughout his circle of friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Kyseck and 1 nephew Mark Bowling. 1 brother-in-law Larry “Tiger” Howard

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Fonda Renna Howard Reed

one son Shaun (Annie) Howard of Chillicothe, Ohio

two brothers Larry (Dion) Reed of Greenup, Kentucky Terry Reed of Bellefonte, Kentucky

one sister Billie (Jim Mangus) Craft of Rosemont, Ohio

one brother-in-law Eric (Joyce) Howard of York, Kentucky

three grandchildren Isaiah Howard, Noah Howard and Emma Howard

his best Friends for over 20 years Ray and Rowena Church of Ashland, Kentucky

several very special nieces and nephews including two nephews who helped with caregiving Eric and Dillon Howard

three great nurses Maria, Laurel, Sue Ann

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Shaun Howard and his grandson Isaiah Howard.

Burial will be in the Quillen Cemetery at Lynn, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6;00 – 9:00 pm Friday and one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com.
