Jack "Bud" Taylor Pauley


Jack “Bud” Taylor Pauley, 84, of Lloyd, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Trinity Station in Flatwoods, Kentucky.

Jack was born April 7, 1933 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Taylor and Kate Hieneman Pauley.

He retired from Kentucky Power Company with 39 years of service. He was a United States Korean Conflict Army Veteran, a member of the James L. Flannery American Legion Post 276 of South Shore, Kentucky, and a member of Greenup Christian Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary L. “Happy” Sparks Pauley, who passed in 2011; and three sisters Frances Pauley, Helen Livingston, and Betty Bays.

He is survived by

Jan (Jeff) Zimmer of Clearwater, Florida

Thelma White of Chillicothe, Ohio

Barbara Jean (Gershen) Klein of Wakeman, Ohio

Taylor (Luke) Lewis, Kira Pauley, Brian (Courtney) Queen, Brad (Clerrinda) Queen, Jenna Zimmer

Three great-grandchildren

Caleb Queen, Madison Queen, Caroline Queen

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the E wing at Trinity Station for all their love and care towards their father.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Minister Joey Kennedy. Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday and one hour before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky or to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
