Wanda Heineman

Wanda Heineman, 87, of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Russell, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2017 at Willows at Hamburg in Lexington. 

Mrs. Heineman was born September 30, 1930 in York, Kentucky a daughter of the late William and Rose Patton Miller.

Wanda was a long-time member of Russell Christian Church/Bridges Christian Church. She volunteered at the Helping Hands in Greenup for several years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ellis “Bud” Heineman; two brothers Harold D. Miller and Edgar Miller; and one sister Judy Virgin.

She is survived by

One son Richard and Kathy Heineman of Winchester, Kentucky

Ronald Miller of Flatwoods, Kentucky

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm December 27, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Doug Virgin. Burial will be Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards Helping Hands in Greenup (412 East Main Street Greenup, Kentucky 41144) or Hospice of the Bluegrass (381 Codell Drive, Lexington, Kentucky).
