Earl Eugene Belford
Earl Eugene Belford, 60, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Thursday December 21, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Belford was born August 9, 1957 in Russell, Kentucky a son of the late Denver and Beatrice Mae Arnett Belford.
Earl worked in the Greenup County School System for 35 years where he was a school bus driver not only driving kids to and from school but also for all the sporting events. He was a paraeducator for 25 years at Greysbranch elementary school. He was a member of the Load Fire Department. Earl was inducted in to the Greenup County District Hall of Fame for outstanding service to Greenup County School District Students. On November 18, 2017 he was recognized as WSAZ News Hometown Hero for outstanding community service.
Earl was always so kind and always smiling. He loved the kids and thoroughly enjoyed his jobs with them. He was an inspiration to many around him and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Lawrence Belford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Geneva Kay Howard Belford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Sunday December 24, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Danny Brown and Bro. Robbie Bond. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery in York, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 9:00 pm on Saturday and one hour before the service on Sunday. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
