Vickie Jonda Oreta

Vickie Jonda Oreta, 51, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV, with her loving family by her side.

Vickie was born January 13, 1966 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of Doris Martin Wright Hannah of Greenup and the late Johnny Wright.

Vickie was a 1984 graduate of Greenup County High School. She worked as the medical administrator at Family Medical Care (Dr. Oreta’s Office) in Greenup .

She was also one of the founders of the Greenup Dance Club in 2002 with her husband where they shared their love for song and dance with others.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one daughter Cassie Felty Craft and one step son Michael Oreta.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Dr. Dante Oreta; one daughter Elisa (Colden) Ellerbrock of Greenup, Kentucky; step-father Charles Hannah

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Kevin Whitt.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
