George "Les" Grubb
George “Les” Leslie Grubb, 93, of Wurtland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday March 24, 2017 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky surrounded by his family who loved him dearly.
Mr. Grubb was born August 1, 1923 in Wurtland, Kentucky a son of the late George William and Laura Leslie England Grubb.
He is retired from CSX Railroad where he worked for 42 years.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He was ordained as a minister in 1966 at the 21st Street Tabernacle Church by Rev E.R. Curry.
He was an avid gardener.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and one daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Bailey Grubb.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Katherine Mae Conley Grubb

Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday March 27, 2017 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Denver Woods. Miliatry rites will be conducted by Marine Corps League Greenbo Detachments #1345.
