Deana Kay Poplin

Deana Kay Kitchen Poplin, 67, of W-Hollow, Greenup, Kentucky went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Mrs. Poplin was born October 1, 1949 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Leonard and Daisy Moore Kitchen.

She was a Christian and attended Lloyd Church of the Nazarene.

Deana was a graduate of Greenup Independent High School and attended Morehead State University. She was a former employee of Greenbo Lake State Park, Greenup County Schools, and also owned the W-Hollow Gift Shop.

She is survived by

Her loving husband Darrell Poplin of Greenup, Kentucky

Two sons who were very precious to her

Rex Poplin and Gabe Poplin, both of Greenup

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday January 28, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Kenneth Martin.

Burial will be in the Kiser-McGinnis Cemetery in Iron Hill.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until Service time on Saturday.
