Boone "Trey" Cole III

SGT Boone Trey Cole III, 22, of Rt. 2 Greenup, Kentucky passed away at his home on Tuesday February 3, 2015.

Trey was born September 12, 1992 in Syracuse, New York a son of Boone Cole II of Greenup, Kentucky and Janis Joplin Cole of New Vienna, Ohio.

He was a 2010 graduate of Greenup County High School

He was a U.S. Marine Corp. Sergeant formerly stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC.

Served 6 month tour in Afghanistan/Operation Enduring Freedom.

Assigned to 8th ESB bulk fuel engineering support battalion

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, February 9, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bro. Willie Sturgill. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup, Kentucky with military rites by Marine Corp. Greenbo Detachment #1345.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home
