Robert "Bobby" Alfred Taylor

Robert “Bobby” Alfred Taylor, 73, of Warnock, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 10, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. Mr. Taylor was born May 31, 1947 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Robert S. and Edarea Sinnett Taylor. Bobby served as Specialist 4TH class in the United States Army from 1967–1969. He was a 1965 graduate of Wurtland High School and was a retired groundman for Pike Electric where he was a dedicated worker for 27 years. In addition to working for Pike Electric he took great PRIDE working on his family farm which he was the 5TH generation to own and operate. On August 2, 1998 Bobby had an experience of grace and gave his hand to the Old Regular Baptist Church of Jesus Christ. He humbly served the Little Rosa and Little Mary Church as a Deacon for 20 years. He was a member of the Philadelphia Church in the Union Association in Pikeville, Kentucky. One of his greatest joys in life was attending church and enjoying the sweet fellowship with his church family, but his greatest joy was his family. He took great pride in his family and loved them deeply. Bobby was one of the kindest, caring, most humble men you would ever know. He would never accept those compliments but would tell you to “look towards God”. It was our privilege and honor to call him Husband, Daddy, Papaw, Brother and Friend. He was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed.
