Norma Lynn Gray

Norma Lynn Gray, 59, of Greenup, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Norma was born January 28, 1966, in Bluefield, West Virginia, a daughter of the late George and Betty Tibbs McGrady. Norma was a loving wife, mom, and nana. She was passionate about spending time with her family, she loved raising her children and was always there for her grandkids. She had a deep faith and enjoyed attending various churches in the tri-state area. She enjoyed cooking and loved having family get-togethers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers George McGrady Jr. and Kenneth McGrady and four sisters Karen Tester, Marie Bowman, Frema Slaughter, and Imogene Willis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Donald “Donnie” Gray; one son Johnathan (Sara) Gray of Ashland, Kentucky; six daughters Heather (Jeremy) Elkins of Huntington, West Virginia, Ashley Gray of Wurtland, Kentucky, Brittany Nichole (Jose) Hernandez of Wurtland, Kentucky, Brittany Ann (Jacob) Cook of Middleton, Ohio, Gracie Gray of Greenup, Kentucky, Amanda (Ryan) Shrader of Tazewell, Virginia; ten grandchildren Alexander, Austin, Shaelynn, Jackie, Ronan, Dawni, Alonna, Ariana, Joseph, and Kaidyn; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Jerry Gray. Burial will be in Gray Family Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. The minute we met working together in that convenience store in Princeton, it was on!! We became best friends immediately. I am so happy that we reconnected years later and I got to hear your sweet voice again. I will miss you forever Norma Lynn but it’s not goodbye. You and me and our memories together will live on.
