Margie K. Hall

Margie K. Hall, 70, of Greenup KY., went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on May 28, 2023. Margie was born July 3, 1952, in Greenup, to the late Samuel T. and Alberta Morgan. Margie had various jobs in her early years, but her main job was raising two children and taking care of her loving husband. She has been a lifelong member of Plum Grove Baptist Church. She loved her church family and all the camping trips and making her no-bake cookies. She took pride in her homemade candy that she loved to give to relatives and friends at Christmas time. She found joy in giving to others.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded into eternal rest by her loving husband of 52 years, Buddy Hall; three sisters Mary Morgan, Opal Marie Luther, Mattie Jean Chambers; five brothers, Simon Morgan, Morris Morgan, Clyde Morgan, Charles Douglas Morgan, and Ellis Dale Morgan.

She is survived by a wonderful son George A. (Kayla) Hall; a wonderful daughter Samantha A. (Bryan) Salyers; a very precious granddaughter Baylee L. Salyers (Taylor McFarland); sister Minnie (Buddy) Hart; two sisters-in-law, Janet K. Baldridge and M. Cathern “Cathy” Rice; one brother-in-law Paul D. (Linda) Hall, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to all who have been there for our family over the years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Plum Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Hutchinson. Burial will be in the Plum Grove-Collins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Reed Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Plum Grove Baptist Church.
